Carrier Transicold Technicians attend 300+ hours of training. Training topics include: troubleshooting, electrical principals, diagnostic testing, in-depth communication software, and extensive hands on work. Carrier Transicold Training consists of four major modules requiring at least a 70% for a passing status. Training Modules include classes on Vector, APX, Standard Microprocessor, Advanced Microprocessor, Multi-Temperature, Supra, Direct Drive, and much more. There are also several other elective classes; Product updates, Rail work, Engine and Compressor, etc. After a technician, has completed his or her training with passing scores, he or she may then apply to take the Master Technician Examination.
